Goldfinch: I just leaned that this handsome little finch is the state bird of New Jersey, Iowa, and Washington. Thats amazing and they deserve! They are loving and feasting on the bachelor buttons and cone flower seedheads. I also learned that they are vegetarians and they eat flowerheads as its main sources of food! Fell in love with them and excited to have them visiting the garden on the regular and enjoy watching them play around.
