  1. I have red Robbin tomatoes and tiny Tim in my greenstalk. The holes does get clogged, i actually drilled bigger holes and water flows better. Make sure no dirt in top water reservoir to clog the holes

  2. I love my greenstalk planters. I planted bush beans in one and love the ease of picking. Herbs do great as well. Going to have to order the seed for the Little Birdie tomatoes though.

  3. I’m having fun with my greenstalks. I have a couple leaf’s for strawberries and I set up a original this spring and have it full of squash, herbs and green onions. I’m in the south too and water until I see water coming out of the bottom and then continue to fill up the watering reservoir to the top and call it good. Seems to be evenly watering throughout. I’m probably getting a couple more before the year is over. I’m in a suburban area with limited space so appreciate being able to grow vertically.

  4. I have two GreenStalks (one regular and one Leaf) and this is the first year I'm growing dwarf tomatoes in the regular size. I did put the dwarf tomatoes near the bottom and I did buy a plant ring support. Everything is growing great! I'm so surprised about your customer service experience. I have had nothing but prompt emails and texts and shipping has been nearly instant! Local family run Tennessee company. The video information really helps put them together and they do a great job with trouble shooting. Call again.

  5. I've used my GreenStalk planters for 3 years and love them. Three tips: 1. Don't push the gray disk into the potting mixand leave it in contact with the mix . Make sure there is some air space under the watering disk or fungus will grow under it on the dirt. 2. I prefer to hand water the pockets. I can control the water amount needed and is distributed more evenly and faster than standing there trying to fill the water reservoir. 3. Fill the tubs to the top with potting mix. The mix will settle when watered. My sister loves Red Robin tomatoes, so I'm going to try them in the GreenStalk next year. Haven't grown dwarf tomatoes in my GreenStalks and am looking forward to seeing how your tomato plants do.

First year, I used Kelloggs brand potting mix, not potting soil, in the planters, and my veggies would not grow. The mix became very hard in the planters. Same thing happened in my grow bags. When I dumped out the potting mix, I had to use a mallet to break it up. This year, I made my own potting mix with organic peat moss, perlite and other organic amendments. So far, have had a successful growing season.

  6. Nice, I love mine I have 2 now. I'm not sure but it looked like your top one wasn't lined up. I could be wrong, but it should snap on to the green stalk as well. there's one way to tell you have little holes in each revisor and they should line up with each pocket. Not telling you what to do by any means just want to make sure its set up right, for a good healthy start on your tomato. I have orange hat tomato plants in all my top pockets seems to be working good so far.

  7. I planted all three varieties of the little birdie series. Some in the Greenstalk and some small pots. The ones in the small pots did much better and the ones in the green stalk seem to have been a little cramped in the pockets. I trimmed them back after the first fruit, and they are starting to bloom again with a second crop. The leaf miners have been relentless on these little tomato plants in Central Florida.

  8. Shame on green stalk! All the you. Tube channels have them. We are trying them for the first time: good luck to all of us

  9. I am very surprised that you did not receive any response from GS as I have made several inquires along the way and had a minor issue that was resolved right away. I called and also emailed at separate times. I have had mine for 3 years and have a total of 6 now. I love them, hopefully you will too.

  10. I was super dissapointed in their customer support aswell. I have 3 original greenstalks and have also bought tgem for family members.
I had ordered the wrong base for one , reached out to them and was told I couldn't exchange it.

  11. Hi Greg! I am so sorry that we never responded to your email! It went to our spam folder by mistake. I just sent you a reply. Thank you so much for sharing and for growing with us! Those tomato plants look amazing, I can't wait to see them grow 💚 – Cody Catherine Thomas

  12. Agreed Greg – Hoss' customer service is above and beyond anything out there! You guys are AMAZING!!!! I've seen this greenstock on so many channels, but the cost prevents me from buying one, just like the silly overpriced hoselink! Can't wait to see your tomato results!!

  13. 🥰please show it off as it grows in….luv my GSx3, & want 3 more- luv to grow lettuce's, so beautiful as plants fill in, pretty with flowers too, never thought about growing dwarfs t in GS, will have to do that!

  14. Thank you for all the knowledge yal share 🙏 I was wondering if yal could lead me in the right direction on how to engineer my irrigation "hot lines", build my manifolds, and plumbing it to get ready for drip tape, drip emitters, misters, and or spray nozzles. I have a lot experience in residential irrigation but don't know how to build my system for future use. I'm getting ready to buy some microburst and calcium nitrate form u. I'm in Pumkintown SC. Thanks and thanks again for your help even if you don't have time, I know yal are busy.
