I buy my favorite brushes from Drawell. They are handmade in Japan. Drawell will ship readily to anywhere in the world. The prices on their website are in Japanese currency but if you send Mr Maeyama an email he will give you prices in other currencies. 1. I have have not drawn or painted since I was at school – almost 40 years ago. I have been looking to take up a new hobby and came across your channel a few weeks ago. I ordered the Meedon starter kit and decided to give watercolour a go. Starting the day it arrived, I've painted something everyday and every day I get more confident. I absolutely love watching your videos and how you encourage everyone and anyone to give it a go. I have just made the lavender bookmarks for my Mum and a card for a friend incorporating the bees and flowers. Thank you for what you do. ❤️

  2. Beautiful too hot here today so will have to wait till its cooler maybe next week. It was same last year couldn't pain at all due to a very hot summer

  3. I'm so happy this popped up on my feed today! I got to learn something new and it's just my style❤

  4. Thank you so much for sharing your bees and your flowers I was not familiar with this type of painting before or at least not what it was called. For the record I love your bees. I think they look like big bumblebees that are having a lovely day visiting flowers. I appreciated the way that you were so relaxed about your painting and made it seem so approachable and simple. I just might have to give it a try myself sometime soon. My first step is to find a pen that is indelible. I'm sure I have one around here. 🙂 thank you for sharing your talent with the rest of us. Blessings.

  5. It is going to be 32deg here today. We are having a crew build us a lovely new shed. A perfect day for me to spend inside painting bees and flowers so as to not miss them outside. Thank you yet again for the beauty you bring to the art world.

  6. Hi Dianne, thank you for this lovely piece, it really caught my eye. I gave it a go and I'm very happy with the results😊

  7. Those bees are DARLING!! I love how you break down complicated things into doable shapes.

  8. Yes, they look like bees! I love them. These simple sweet paintings are not too intimidating to try.
