  1. Dealing with animals- plant more than you you think you will need. So some go to animals. 😊

  2. I have the Japanese beetles on my knock out roses…. but I don't care as long as they leave everything else alone….

  3. That is incredible and inspiring! 🪴 The passion for growing is contagious! Thank you both for the beautiful tour.

  4. Lol, I have a lot of “surprise” vegetables coming up. It’s an adventure!

  5. Wow! What a garden. The weather is so all over the place. Kaye it’s really sad. I am having a bad garden year. There is not much growimg and the bug pressure is really bad. The only thing I have going for me this year is in the geothermal greenhouse. I really enjoyed the tour. I hope the dear stay out of his garden. Thank you for sharing his garden. Wendy🙏🏻🇺🇸🌎

  6. Lovely garden! Bravo for doing it totally organic. I tried doing that here, but the pest and disease pressure in Florida is unbelievable. If I don't use OMRI approved products, I wouldn't have anything to eat or put up.

  7. Kaye, just a suggestion. I noticed you post the times for upcoming videos in CST. The bulk of the population is on EST. This may cause some people to tune in at the wrong times. I know you want your videos to have as broad an expsure as possible.♥️

  8. I have some of those cages I inherited whenever I moved into my house from previous owner. I moved 10 years later and I'm still using them. The previous probably made them in the late 70's.

  9. I would suggest Mexican sunflower to y'all for the butterflies. They reseed themselves and get huge. Drought tolerant too. I found it helps the pollinators in late summer whenever lot's of other blooms are gone.

  10. Started my day with a video…ended my day with a video… both fantastic. Thanks Kaye and Daryl. Always a pleasure watching the garden tour videos at Daryls Bamboo Oasis.
Kaye you do such a great interview with everyone you interview. The remembrance of OAG was a nice little tribute.
Love the friendship chemistry between you and Daryl.🌻Happy Trails!🤠

  11. Hello there, kaye, Darrell and Petie too. Whow, lovely, I am amazed how these things all grow up so fast,oh hi there too chickens, and the birds singing..oh I had a little bundle of the runner beans with red flowers .my friend who grow s some nice veg in his garden gives me some goodies and yum they were delicious. I give him some eggs from my garden girls 🐔..I love how the climbers grow up the bamboo s.its beautiful…thankyou, super lovely film.xx

  13. Thumbs up and do hope you had somme cooling drinks, iced tea maybe.you looked the perfect bright sunshine 🌞 lady for the garden tore, 😊wonderful.

  14. I love seeing Darrell's garden.
The first time I ever saw winged beans was here in Cambodia. They let them grow a little longer than three inches. But they have a much longer growing season.

  15. It's hard work to live on a homestead and grow a garden. These two are an inspiration that it can be done at an older age.

  16. Daryls food forest is absolutely gorgeous! I have 5 cattle panel trellis's in my garden and it looks similar but on a smaller scale. Gardens are meant to look like fairy land or magical. Since we had the chemtrail fog that "they" say was smoke murdered my tomato blossoms and murdered all my bee's. My clover was loaded with bee's and butterflies but the chemtrail fog destroyed them. I'm lucky if I have 2 or 3 bee's and a butterfly now and again. I believe that was their goal. To cut down on pollination and blossoms. BTW….you can smell smoke. The fog smelled like metal. Anyway…truly enjoyed the garden walk.

  17. Kaye…plant basil around your tomato plants. Basil is a great companion plant for tomatoes and it deturs tomato horn worms.

  18. Kaye FYI….you and Daryl were saying you haven't seen a monarch in a long time. You were looking at a yellow monarch. Monarchs are orange or yellow.

  19. I have a question, how does Daryl keep his beans from cross pollinating? All those beans close together. Are Beans in different families? Not sure about all this and haven’t heard an explanation on this? Hope Daryl sees this comment.
Love your garden Daryl, thanks for sharing it with us.
