  1. My favorite job is pruning. #2 is weeding….I love clean up for a quick change. Love your berm.

  2. Thanks for showing the weeds in your gardens. Makes me not feel too bad as I weed daily to keep up with the buggers. Great looking garden.

  3. How long did it take you both to weed that one section? And we all want to know, then how long did you continue to weed after and did you get it all done? 😊

  4. My goodness I can weed and then I turn around and the garden is full of weeds again!! We are so dry and yet they keep growing. Your garden is so beautiful!!!🌸💕💕

  5. My favorite weeding tool came from Kinsman, years ago ,,it’s a small hand hoe in the shape of a triangle, don’t think they have it anymore, very pointed and one side is sharp,,.,,can’t live without it,💚about 12 inches.. I TRY to weed some every day. Does Not always happen 😂😊

  6. It looks good. Weeding does make a difference. Thanks for reminding us to not try to tackle it all at once.

  7. Weeds never end this time of year for sure. I found a way to use them by getting a large plastic trash can and placing the weeds in it and adding water, letting it sit for a few days. It makes great compost tea and my plants love it.😊

  8. I generally try to take one day for fertilizing and then one day for weeding. But of course I walk around each day just to spot weed or pull dead leaves from daylillies. I am try so hard to keep those growing and blooming throughout the summer. So far so good!

  9. Thank you Jenny. I needed this. So easy to be overwhelmed in hot and humid July.

  10. Breaking the garden down into zones really helps me get things done. Not every zone gets work every day and it's OK. The garden survives and more importantly, so does the gardener.

  11. Please try sheet mulch folks. On flat surface us 2 layers of cardboard. On hill use brown paper…. u can buy it but we shop on base n they have big paper bags! Perfect❤
