What about the time of day of the Sun? For instance if the Sun is from 1 to 5 p.m. by spring equinox, then increasing thru summer?
Greetings from Atlanta. We have a sloped backyard that faces East and backs onto a ravine wooded area. Aside from creating a terrace which would very expensive because the materials could only be brought in through wheelbarrows, what else could I plant. Right now is just a hill of clay.

What is full shade
One side of my 2 storey house has full sun from morning till evening.
Is that full sun?
One side is hid from the sun from morning till evening. Is that full shade or low light or indirect sunlight?
I have carport in the middle of my yard, it casts shade all day, I can still see and read under it when I lie down there out of sun. Is that full shade indirect sunlight or?
I have a windowless fibro shed, I can still clearly see my way round in the daytime. Is that fullshade low light or indirect sunlight?

i built a shade garden under two honey locusts in front of my moms store.
