Spring Yard Clean Up | Pruning Boxwoods into Balls | March Garden Tour | 2022 Landscaping Plans

Hey spring babies! Thank you so much for watching. I was so excited to have my first day outside in the yard and garden for spring 2022. I tackled lots of basic landscaping maintenance for early spring, including cutting back perennials, dead heading hydrangeas, mulching, picking up sticks, leaf blowing my front porch and garden area, and pruning my boxwoods into balls. I had never pruned my boxwoods before, so this was a new experience for me. I love how formal and classic boxwood balls look and I can’t wait to see how mine grow in over the next couple of months. I end the video with a mini March garden tour and talk about my plans for 2022 spring landscaping. I am so excited that the temperatures are finally warming up and I’ll be getting to spend more time outside now. I love planning out my garden and can’t wait to see everything come to fruition for 2022.

  1. Great job there! This makes me really want to go outside and do some work. I started some tomatoe and bell pepper seeds this week but that is about it. It’s so nice to have all the gardening project in front of us.

  2. My motivation is to be your neighbor You would have so much content for your channel whatever you did to your yard you could do to my yard whatever you did to your house you could do to my house everything you do is on point

  3. Ohhh I planted bulbs last year but nothing yet… 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 I like the window box idea. And Creeping Jenny is the bessssssst 😂😂😂

  4. You are very brave to cut those boxwoods LOL but they came out great! Mine are about the same size and I can't bring myself to do it…. I feel like they should be bigger before I butcher them? 🤣I guess I'm afraid if I mess up they won't grow back in nice. And yes to the window boxes!! They would look awesome with some potato vine spilling out.

  5. I’m in OH and itching to get to work outside, keeps getting cold though! My husband trying to be “helpful” cut back my hydrangeas to the ground in the fall 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m not seeing any growth yet so fingers crossed he didn’t totally kill them lol
