  1. Hello from California (zone 9b). What a georgous garden!! And beautiful landscape!! So glad I found your channel. I will be converting my lawn to nature friendly garden so name of plants on this video really helps me for selecting plants for my own. Thank you so much!! Looking forward for your next video.

  2. Wow, you're very good ! You learn fast ! I love the plants you chose,I have a few D.A roses and added my first thalictrum this year, I think it's the delavayi, I find this plant beautiful ! This is the first video of you I watch, are you 2 the only ones working on this garden ? If so, it's impressive ! (my garden looks much smaller but I'm the only one working on it :D)

  3. Bravo, what a great first video! I came over from IG and am thrilled you decided to do YT. I can’t believe how lush your garden is for it being so young. Your design skills are amazing for being new to gardening! Can’t wait to follow along and see your creativity unfold. ❤🌸🌳😊

  4. Just gorgeous. And thank you for having all the names of your various plants, as well as where the urns/fountain came from! Can’t wait to see more!

  5. Why do I now want to pull out my annabelle and replace it with the invincible spirit hydrangea? They look amazing! Not as red as I thought they were unless that deepens with age. Great plant collection!

  6. So glad I came across this video! FABULOUS garden! Absolutely beautiful ❤

  7. Beautiful Garden!!! Names of plants! 👍👍👍I have sooooo many screenshots to write on list!!!! Looking forward to more!

  8. Wonderful! Possible replacement for ailing sand cherry— try black lace elderberry: great deep purple foliage and early summer blooms.

  9. I too got hit with Japanese Beetles. You best hit em hard . I was only twenty three when my husband an I built our home. I after planting an adding more plants when I could ,I was young plus working long hours didn't notice the beetles until that actually killed so many of my plants and trees. They especially loved my red leaf plums. Such beautiful small trees, with dark purple foliage and white blooms in spring. Ate every leaf off of five trees I had. I didn't loose everything but they took out half of all my plants. I thought after I treated for them, got rid of most I guess, but the next year was when I really saw what they could do. Nothing rebounded they hit hard. So I'm always on the lookout for them. This year I saw my first ones on my roses. I sprayed everything in my yard, an I put out seven dust to protect my plants from any I know I didn't get or ones that just fly by. Your gardens are beautiful. Thank you for the tour. So happy you mentioned Laura on GA. She is a world of information on gardening. She inspires me to keep it up, and I just keep adding. If you have just a tiny spot, you can add something there. Lol

  10. SpecTACular! I didn't read all the comments but the pink astilbe looking plant is Filipendula rubra 'Venusta'/Queen of the Prairie and the variegated grass that runs is most likely some variety of Phalaris/Ribbon Grass.

  11. Very beautiful!! Can you share what kind of bee balm that is? Your gardens are beautiful ! Thanks for sharing! 😊♥️
