  1. Lovely…. my water garden failed coz it's too hot at my home…..any suggestions

  2. How lovely, your water lilies are beautiful! Iโ€™m curious though, how did you make your wine barrel planter water right?

  3. Hi Vidya, I bought some water lily seeds this year online. But as I was looking, I felt that it is a messy business over wintering them… but yours looks dry when you removed it from trash bag. Do you ever open the bag and gave it water in winter to retain moisture? Also, looks like you did not start your plants from seeds… wish me good luck ๐Ÿคž

  4. Hi Mam, By any chance could you do a video on how you maintain algae and sludge . Also do you add fish to your container pond .

  5. Hello Vidya, I want to bring my lotus plant inside for winter. I live in PA so it gets pretty cold. I saw 2 options in YouTube. Bring the whole barrel with water indoor. Other option is to trim and put in trash bag as you showed. Which one do you recommend?

  6. Some species are a buy-once kind of deal. You buy them and then they split and reproduce, some species may even produce their own seeds without much help.

  7. So beautiful! I am trying a water garden for the first time with citrus twist water lily and orange punch canna in a very hot and humid climate in the south. The leaves of the lily all died within a week, perhaps the fertilizer wasn't separated by enough soil and shocked the plant. But the canna is beautiful and I'm hoping the lily will recover and more leaves will grow from the rhizome that's still planted. I've heard lillies should have 6-10 inches of water above them and canna should have 1 inch. Do you have specific depths of water for each plant? Thank you!

  8. Hi Vidya, I want to know do you do anything to care for the plants when you have them stored for winter? Do you water them or anything? I'm in USDA zone 4a/3b and so our winters are quite long.
