  1. Your work is absolutely amazing!!!! Your hands are truly gifted and your vision is unmatched!

  2. Japanese Beetles absolutely shredded the leaves on my perennial Hibiscus. Still blooming but the leaves look like sieves. Everything in your garden is lovely and thriving. Love the bird bath. I've been looking for a bird bath and love the style of yours.

  3. Definitely treat your grass for grubs to break the breeding cycle of the Japanese beetles. You should see less each year once you start treating.

  4. Putting out beetle bags is the worst, they attract more beetles ☹please get rid of them !!! You need to hand pick them and dump them into soapy water . Love your yard 💗

  5. FYI:
Thank you for saving me with my five arborvitae planted in my backyard!🙌🏼Because of a video I watched a long time ago of yours I remembered about the spider mites in your arborvitae (I think your arborvitae were by your driveway?)and to check them regularly! I took care of it and I am still on the lookout! Thank you so much!🥰

  6. Your backyard arborvitae garden is looking spectacular! Keep up the great work and don’t forget to water🙌🏼💦💦💦 I have a pinky winky Hydrangea on standard too! I bought it last August.I was very worried about it because it was losing a lot of it leaves in the center and I researched it on Proven Winners website and it said that was its normal for mine to lose leaves in the center of the plant because of its chlorophyll and the plant adjusting itself in the new garden area.✅

  7. PS! Get RID of that Japanese beetle trapping bag mechanism! You are actually attracting all the Beetles in your neighborhood to YOUR yard. I used to do that and they make babies and bury themselves in the ground for next year! This year was my best year with the Japanese beetles. I live in SC. I was diligent and put down Applications in the spring and early summer.I did handpick some off daily and throw it in a Dawn detergent water bucket The number that I have picked off went from 100 last year to 10 a day this year. I am so sick of Japanese beetles so this year I decided to do a lot of research on it before they actually arrived on my plants.

  8. The garden is going to look great next year when everything is settled. Lol, those beetles are a beast I had a rose tree and couldn't enjoy
their blooms. Maybe, next year I'll give a rose tree or bush a chance.

  9. Your backyard is coming along beautifully! I can’t wait to see it finished. I struggled with the Beatles last year; haven’t seen many this year. They seem to come every few years. Have you thought about putting a couple of fish in your pond? That will help with mosquito larvae. Not sure what to do in winter though. Great job!

  10. Hey there. I suggest putting the beetle bags back in the woods to draw the beetles away from your property. It draws them to you if you set it up in your yard. The trick is setting it up on the periphery of your property.

  11. Hi, Jess I looked for the arch link but could not find it. Could you link it here, please? Thank you!

  12. Backyard coming along and looking great❤. Slow down on clearance until you get all in ground and not in driveway

  13. Those darn Japanese beetle got all of my rose bushes. I have decided to make a Fall piece of art in picturw frame using all of the lacey leaves that they have left behind

  14. Hello friend. Many of us are neglectful of many of tasks and it’s alright. Just hit that reset button (as you’ve already done) and move forward. Thank you for sharing your beautiful green spaces with us. Many blessings & OneLove ❣️

  15. I know it's frustrating to deal with those pesky beetles, hopefully your plants can reflush and you get some satisfaction before they go dormant!

  16. I love your videos, they are so relaxing and you give great information on the plants. Thank you for sharing and inspiring.

  17. Your garden is beautiful, you have such an eye! This heat and rain has had many of us not keeping our green spaces up like we want to, we’re human, please give yourself some grace. I LOVE the arch!

  18. Good gracious the size of those beetles. I'm surprised you have anything left. Last year was the storms, this year it's bugs. But you keep right on going 👍🙏❤️

  19. Ooh!! How fun I'm so excited for you guys. Benjamin how cool was that, help building your Mom and pound. Super cool dude.

  20. Move the trap away from the area there in. It pulls them away from the area. I think it is on the instructions on mine. You will still have a few but not as heavy.

  21. Your garden beds are coming along! I feel your pain about the Japanese beetles eating your plants. My pests are deer and rabbits. If the deer don't eat the rabbits do! The deer are voracious, and they will eat plants to the ground! I feel frustrated when I've worked so hard, and some critters eat my plants. Who knew deer would eat tomato foliage??!!

  22. Hi Jazz everything looks great. I buy mosquito dunks from Lowes or your garden center to control mosquitos. They won't harm birds and I think they're safe for frogs. But frogs will do the job too!

  23. Treat your yard with milky spoors. This is the only effective treatment. I have also discovered that a misting of Raid ant spray will kill the beatles and deture new oned
