  2. microgreens can be done completely in water- wet them dailt in a tall jar with a lid thats lie a strainer.. then you can eat and enjoy when youre ready

  3. Another of your excellent lessons. My outdoor raised bed can be covered on our coldest nights but because of you, I’ll be expanded my indoor growing! Thanks again!

  4. When there's food on the store shelves this may seem expensive. When there isn't, it becomes priceless!

  5. Hey you know your phone is spying on you when you and your video shows up on my feed lol

Could you please tell me, I have always grown outdoors but purchased everything I thought I would require for inside. My LED full spectrum lights I originally purchased were to have a pink tone but came and were bright white so I returned them and the new ones are really pink. I notice yellow full spectrum, white, and pink led. Is there a best color for mainly leafy greens, peas, overwinter peppers and possibly an attempt at pollination of a tomato plant? I appreciate any advice & what a great video too… thank you!!!

  6. I've been watching a bunch of videos, looking for the right one. Your Toque said enough for me!!!! ///S///

  7. Been looking at getting an Aerogarden as lettuce and spinach are hard to get in good quality. Discounting time and electricity it would pay for itself after 35 or so harvests.

  8. Nothing beats the sun. Learnt that when I grew strawberry. I grew them indoor with decent grow light, and they did fruit. But when I put the strawberries out for the full sun, it didn't take long to realise how sweeter the strawberries have become.

  9. What is your specs for your lights and how many and how long are the lights ? Brand? Not all grow lights are good for indoor growing 🙁 . I want to have an indoor n outdoor garden so this info would be Great 🙂

  10. I’M SO GLAD I FOUND YOU!!!
I love the simple and very informational way you explain things. I never cared for plants before but now that I’m a grandmother I want to learn about indoor plants to care for with the grandkids. Please, do a video for kids explaining the basics of indoor planting from seeds. 😘👍

  11. What a blessing this video is, and what a blessing you are to share your knowledge with us. Thank you so much. Can’t thank you enough

  12. The planters don't come with hole purposely. The idea is that you can use them as either the planter itself OR the drip catcher around the planter with holes n the bottom. YOU have to make the drainage. It's easier to make holes in plastic than to plug them reliably.

  13. Wow, I wish it wasn’t dark so I could get outside and start preparing my indoor garden. Just need to think of how I justify needing more plants & bringing them indoors to hubby. He already thinks I have a problem 🤣 great content, thx 😊

  14. I started indoor gardening using terra cotta pots from Michael's. You didn't provide a solution to 3:00. Michael's sells drainage dishes. Just match the pot with the appropriate size dish. Take advantage of their 20% off coupons and fill out the online survey for additional savings. No!, I don't work for Michael's. That is where I buy my pots and drainage dishes. I am currently growing cilantro, basil and parsley in little terra cotta's and dishes. I started a complimentary packet of Beefsteak's. Nothing yet. But as a month ago Cilantro's from Ferry-Morse are a little over an inch high. I'm from Pennsylvania and the temps are wacky.

  15. I agree 100% on being sterile with what you bring inside, but if outbreaks come up at least the sprays are much more effective and you don't need to worry about killing beneficials. Since you control the environment you can spray the plant, the dirt, and clean the environment (as well as washing your clothes). Then repeat again in a couple days to get anything that may have hatched, and you are usually pretty good. Lots of work but doable.

  16. I love your videos. I was using a spider farmer sf2000 light and having lackluster results and the thing was using 200 watts. I recently switched to a Happy Lead Procyon Pro light which only uses 68 watts. I’m now getting twice the growth using much less electricity. Happy Leaf makes their lights in America and I’ve been blown away by the results. I’m not affiliated with Happy Leaf in any way. Check it out. I hope this helps you.

  17. I have extremely limited space and am currently living in a dorm room.. gotta grow things in small pots

  18. Dwarf tomatoes like tiny tim and red robin are also said to be good growing indoors. Have you tried that?

  19. Hi, please do a video on Temu LED grow lights, I am trying to grow African violets, tomatoes, lauki (long squash), chrysanthemum, mints, Indian Basil (Tulsi), capsicum 🫑, hot red 🌶️ chillies tiny ones, lettuce – indoors in winter. I am absolutely not sure which grow lights to buy and which of my plants would need it in winters. Now it's summer but I want to prepare in advance and find affordable options. Thank you!

  20. Hey Joe, from Springfield Missouri watched your video here and that container were you were drilling holes into what did you use on the bottom of that to hold the water? I don’t have a basement so the only other place I could do it is that a bedroom and of course you don’t wanna get the floor wet so How would you rig up something so the floor won’t get wet ?

  21. I had a basil plant that was like my baby and I brought in outside soil after it needed a bigger pot and it immediately succumbing to disease it was so sad 😭 wish I watched this video sooner!

  22. Many years ago, I was an avid gardener… and had a lot of success… but today it's less expensive to buy your good at a grocery store or farmer's market. I did not grow food simply for the fun of it; I also grew it because it was cheaper than buying food. Today, that's not true. So I don't garden anymore.
