  1. Hi Linda, your book was just delivered and I headed straight to my garden to read it. As I read, I felt like you were actually reading it to me! It’s just as I had hoped it would be, down to earth, informative and with beautiful pictures! I’m also a self taught gardener, and ashamed to say, I don’t read gardening books and just fly by the seat of my pants so yours is an exception!
I’m happy that winter is over and you are focusing again on the plantings, etc. Also want to thank you for being so dedicated and reliable when it come to posting videos. I’m a vloger myself so I know how much time and effort it takes. Thank you! 🤗😀🌿🌺🌱

  2. I love this garden so much. What a delightful lady with such a generous heart to share her garden with us. I’m amazed at how beautiful her lawn is as well. How does she manage to get it to grow so well under all of the tree?

  3. Hi Linda and Stewart and Linda another great tour. Stewart is doing an excellent job getting it all in. There is a lot to see. But he has been able to get it all in without making us dizzy. That is good camera work! I too have trouble naming plants in gardens I visit. It’s just for me an out of place thing. It was very generous of Linda to share her garden with us. I will be watching this again on my big screen tv. I have only seen it on my phone which doesn’t give me the ability to appreciate the vistas. Thank you😊 again. Take care of yourself Linda. You can lose your voice. A lot of tv people get laryngitis after Covid bc of the inflammation. Try to rest your voice. Drink tea. Talk to singers voice teachers they will tell you what to do. Dark chocolate tea with honey. 7a New York

  4. So enjoyed the tour of this beautiful garden. I had to watch it twice to write down all of the tips and ideas that really inspired me. The Japanese yews in the pots! The metal artwork was amazing. The tip about using perennials to grow as shrubs, great idea. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place!

  5. That's okay Linda I would have stayed all day with you. What a beautiful gardening space. Thank you for sharing.

  6. Hi Linda, maybe a bit off topic, but I've just received some eastern redbud seeds here in Australia (and yes, we are in Winter now). I know that your eastern redbuds seed prolifically in Oklahoma, but could you possibly advise me what would be the way that I can grow these here. We are an equivalent of US Zone 8/9 (unsure as we get -8C deg in Winter, and up to 42C in Summer). Should I cold stratify in pots over Winter in a sheltered place in potting/seedling mix?
Any help from you or our lovely Linda Vater community would be more than welcome. These trees are so rare here!
Thank you all so much, I love being part of this community even from so far away. You all are very helpful and I read the comments religiously!

  7. Extravagantly beautiful. I have 3/4 acre lot and a nickel and dime budget and it has been exhausting trying to fill in the open space due to the deer, rabbits and a weed whacking hubby who thinks that everything is a weed. I spend more time chasing him and the rabbits aways from my plants. You have created amazing garden rooms.

  8. OH Linda, thank you so much for this visit to this most beautiful property !!! Linda Lambert your property is like a slice of heaven ! Gardening , I think is a gift from God . I found myself tearing up a one point because of the joy I felt at walking with you through this wonderland !!! Thank you again, God Bless.

  9. So beautiful. I absolutely love that she embraces the native plants of the area. That's so great!

  10. What a wonderful lady! She and her gardens are a joy. Is her book available to other than her special friends?

  11. Oh my goodness what a sweet and gracious hostess! I love her❤️ Thank you for the beautiful garden tour!

  12. This was such a beautiful garden! Plus such a nice lady for sharing her garden with us! Also thanks to you and Stewart for providing such a fun video!

  13. I just love your friend Linda! I want to come to Oklahoma City and just spend the day with her in her gardens! Her gardens are beautiful and she is a beautiful soul! 💕💕

  14. I enjoyed every minute of these last two episodes. You’re hostess is such a charming, and gracious lady. I wish I lived I OC. I didn’t know you were a Hoosier! How fun! Me too, grew up on a farm in south eastern Indiana, now just south east of Indy. I moved last April to the home I’ve wanted for 25 years of marriage, but the garden was just grass and just a few shrubs. So, I’m starting over and being more judicious this time. Your channel has been a tremendous blessing. I”m so inspired that I started a channel I’m going to call “how does her garden grow” to document the transformation. In just a year there is a tremendous change, but I’ve found lots of awesome pots on fb marketplace and started two topiaries ($2.25 boxwoods) and many containers. This has been a joy to watch and I decided to document after the first episode and now I’m really excited. Just have to wait a day or two “the heat” came early to Indiana this year. Much love ❤️

  15. This was an exquisite garden and a wonderful owner. I wish that I could have heard her comments better. Maybe because she was not miked.

  16. So lovelyvto hear Stewarts input bless him. You work so well together. Such fun. It really works. Beautiful garden and glad to hear you sounding so much better Linda. Big hugs from the UK 🇬🇧

  17. Oh my goodness, OH MY GOODNESS!!! I am sitting here in TOTAL AMAZEMENT! What a magnificent walkabout! Well, it was such a treat to get not only a window into this beautiful property, but also to watch and listen to you two wonderful gardeners converse back and forth! I learned so many valuable lessons today! Not only about gardening, but about LIFE! Isn't it just "magical" when you have these precious moments that you didn't expect to grab your attention in ways that you didn't know you NEEDED! There is such a kindred spirit between gardeners. How evident that "spirit" was in this video! THIS is a MUST WATCH again! Thank you Linda and Stewart for sharing your talent! Much love and blessings…

  18. Dear Linda, this is some great content! Thanks for sharing this with us. Your videos are so inspiring! Greetings from Belgium (zone 7) 🙂

  19. I have enjoyed this so much! It reminds me of walking through my grandmothers garden. She would identify every plant in the garden as we walked along! Both of you are just the epitome of sweet southern ladies in the garden!

  20. Delightful. I'm in UK. I've subscribed. You are SO LIKE our Joanna Lumley. This is such a lovely garden. I'm looking forward to seeing lots more.

  21. One of the most beautiful garden tours I've seen so many wonderful ideas and garden elements. I could live there no problem.

  22. "There is a difference between being driven and being drawn."
Best gardening tip ever! Applies to art … which is life as well. As a new gardener…that hit home!!!!
    Thank you!!!!

  23. I do enjoy your gardening tips. Also I spray the weeds in my stone garden with bleach. It’s an easy way to destroy the weeds from popping up

  24. Wow I'm watching this over and over. I'm blown away at how she can put certain things together that seem like theyd need opposite growing conditions like the golden jumiper (I think of full sun & dry) w oakleaf hydrangea (I think good shade and moist) and they seem to be doing great!!! And I wish I could ask (because I'm thinking of planting a northern red oak) how often the almost permanent garden layout needs to be rearranged as it grows, or can the tree itself be tweaked. And also HOW she sculpts her tree limbs to create those forms. Oh yeah, and for avoiding deer magnets, those hydrangeas seem to be doing amazing! Thank you for taking us here!

It's SUCH a nice December escape & really kicks that garden planning into gear! I'm definitely getting one of those magnolia trees! Thanks again!

  25. Hello Linda. I think to you, I hope that your garden doesnt suffer to much because of the cold wheather. Bon courage ! 21:40
