  1. A transom is what you need to put above the door in the laundry room. I can picture a stained glass that goes with your colors with flowers and butterflies. It would be beautiful and also give you additional light. What do you all think?

  2. I love the idea of the scone over the door and your charging station is genius. I like the idea of the beige umbrella because it matches the steps. Great video, so many good ideas. Looking forward to seeing them incorporated

  3. I’m glad your doing what you want to your home, I think I will own one more home in my life and I’m hoping it will be the best yet! Also your home looks amazing 💕

  4. Love your laundry & organisation. Can I just ask about a wet sink in the laundry for messy things? Hand washing? Where would you do that ?

  5. What color of paint did you use on the wall of the Laundry room. it appears to be a shade of eucalyptus. I love it. You have such beautiful aesthetic .

  6. Yes to the brass sconce. The idea absolutely fits the look of the door and beautiful age of the house.

  7. Re: area over the door. I can imagine a framed etched or stained glass panel to mimic a transom window.

Or a clock. “There’s no present like time.” says my husband as he buys me another clock for our house.

  8. Nice design on the laundry closet. You really maximized the space with the wicker shelving and closet. love the charging station idea! Absolute necessity

  9. For over the basement door, it appears that there is daylight coming from a window on the other side of that door. Is there a window lighting the landing at the top of the stairs to the basement? If so, wouldn't it be nice to let some more of that natural light flow into the laundry room, instead of engaging yet another electrical or battery-operated device as a sconce or light fixture? I was imagining that a transom would look good filling the space over that basement door, maybe even one that could tilt open to release moisture while the laundry is being done. A transom seems to fit the age of the house, and could be an attractive architectural element that could serve as ventillation as well as letting in more of the natural light. There is already a lot of bright light coming from the can lights recessed into the ceiling — it doen't look (to me) like you need another light fixture in there; but a transom would be an attractive and useful way to fill that space over the basement door. Just a suggestion. Thanks for showing off the new laundry cabinets and organized shelves. I really like the idea of a centralized charging station, out of the way of the open living spaces, so everyone doesn't have to look at the various wires and devices being charged — great idea! Keep those great ideas coming! — Margaret from Vancouver, WA, USA

  10. Have you ever thought about having your chairs sand blasted and powder coated? I had been spray painting mine but thought they need more help. (Sun, rain make them take a beating) It wasn’t to expensive and they look fantastic!

  11. I do love the brickpaver sitting area & the brick edge to the steps, that is sheer genius!! You have a great sense of place & how to create it. Love it all. I don't think the light over the door is needed but I do think someone suggested painting the door to match the cabinets, I think that would give you the pop that area needs. Love all that you do & your organizing mind makes me envious.

  12. Also, the rechargeable bar light link goes to undercabinet lights. Please adjust the link. Love that light bar!

  13. Long time ago, but by far the nicest look with your red Hunter Boots and dress, by the way Hunter Boots have gone bankrupt a few months ago.

  14. NO DOUBT Linda you will make those beautiful steps grande indeed with your lovely plant styling! 😊

  15. Love everything you are doing! What’s the plan for the garage? New doors maybe French? Can’t wait to see!
