  1. Will these "plantnannys" work outdoors in a garden bed? I've got an awkward raised bed I'm looking to grow watermelons and another for butternut squash which I can't hook up to my regular soaker hoses system, but I afraid they won't go deep enough or provide enough water? And Ollas I'm having heck finding reasonably priced ones and the plant pot suggestions I've seen don't give a good source for ones that will actually 'weep'. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!

  2. I tried using with a 2 liter bottle and it just overflows.. What is the max size bottle that may be used?
