0:02 First he should have repaired and painted the wall to the left, than remove the old corrugated plastic to the right, clean the place and put on adequate sturdy shoes. It would have been more handsome to place the whole tank on some kind of stand, so that it would be at breast height. The rear and side walls should have rock imitation with some caves where the fishes could hide. Dark gravel seems to be appropriate for the ground and this would hide the ugly plant pots. The medieval towers are a matter of taste, but the tubular plastic outlets for the water don't really fit.
