  1. Please cut all the trees near ya’s roof line .. living in Texas you always have to prepare so we cut the trees down either every year or every other year that are near the roof lines of the house because of hurricane season

  2. Plus, living in Texas you can always find a group or some type of a nonprofit that is giving out young trees away and you can redo the research and get a tree that is not gonna be very big, but will provide shade

  3. So I have learned when you plant any vegetable, they say you should plant a small chive plant. The chive smell will deter the bugs.

  4. I love all them peppers. Yes I have walking onions as well. The peppers you can put those in pots so you can trim them down put them in pots and overwinter them and sometimes they can still produce in the house and then in spring you put them back out you can either keep them in the pot or put them back in the soil and they will give you a harvest quicker than starting from seed. I have a 3year old banana peppers still going strong.

  5. Your garden is still going strong. We have to try the squash next year.. Wow that tree caused problems. I've been waiting on your watermelons. Our Jamaican Sorrel is coming along slowly also. I love the shade cloth over the garden in this heat. That luffa plant is huge. Great update. We are looking forward to your Fall garden. Thanks for sharing

  6. You have so much more work than we do. However, you can grow so much more and can plant a second crop if the first one fails. Up north we have it easy when it comes to fall garden. It must be planted by late August and is limited to very few varieties because gardening is all over by about the 1st of October. You are doing such an excellent job of using the calendar to your advantage. Keep it up.

  7. SO HAPPY you loved the Calabaza,, it will grow until winter kills it,, 🥰 we use it in stew, beans, pies and all sort of things, really happy for you guys,, keep growing

  8. Great to hear the recap and upcoming plans, Sid and Tory. You two had so much success on the new homestead. Looking forward to even more in the future. Have a blessed weekend.

  9. You have grown so much love to see how much you learned,,,,o mystery plant was a pumpkin,,,but something killed my plant but I got a tiny pumpkin😊

  10. It has been a pleasure catching up on video's I really enjoy you both have a great night😊
