  1. Lol 😂 it does work you just have to have the stem just so!!!! It’s like taking a blade of thick grass & placing it between your thumbs & cupping your hands. (Those who know, know. To hard to explain) 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 lol

  2. OMG, your squash stem horn attempt was legit fire! 🌱🔥 Btw, have you heard about this cool AI tool called FantaClaus? It could handle these comments like a boss!

  3. I think cutting a slit on the top helps. Danny @deepsouthhomestead shows how to make one. God bless! A for effort😊 God bless!

  4. In YouTube search "squash horn" and you'll learn more about it , or how it's done. I thing it's "deepsouthhomestead" that explains best and shows it can be done. Nice try so far, you'll get it.

  5. I'm guessing you have never tried to play a brass instrument. They would do the same thing because your lips are not in the correct position to make noise. You have to have your lips tight together with only a small opening. It is the vibration of your lips that make the sound and the brass instrument determines the pitch by how long the tube is. The brass instrument also projects more because of the bell shape at the end of the tube.

  6. 🤭
It might have worked if a slit existed like a tin flute or you blow across like a bottle. I would say try again, but admittedly it would be more about the entertainment value than the curiosity of the different form of experimentation 😁

  7. Try squishing the end like a reed. That way, when you blow into the stem it creates vibration/sound waves.
My mom used to do this with straws, same concept. It will work.
Otherwise, like a trumpet, you'll have to create the vibration with your lips. 🤷
Sounded like you'd almost got it a couple times though!! You'll get it! 🤙
