AHMEDABAD vlog~ Shopping wholesale market, Street Food, Hotel Buffet, Ahmedabad – Mumbai Vistadome

Exploring AHMEDABAD in this vlog! Wholesale Shopping Market, Manek Chowk and other legendary street food places and a five star hotel buffet breakfast, beautiful riverfront and coming back to Mumbai by Vistadome train. Hope you enjoy this vlog!
After tasting the mouth-watering Thalis of Ahmedabad, I have reached the next step in my food trail here, that is trying the local delicacies and street food. Ahmedabad is famous for its Gujarati Farsan, Namkeens and snacks but it is also a heaven for cheese lovers. Every other food place here offers you tons of cheese and butter with the authentic Gujarati snacks, but I’ve tried to keep it real by visiting some of the original shops and restaurants, which have been here since a long time and still cater to the authentic taste. Some #legendary places to try the best Gujarati food are Oshwal and Das Khaman, serving Delicious snacks for 50+ years. Another place to buy the essence of Gujarati food is Falguni Gruh Udyog. The place has different Khakharas, Sarevdas, Gathiyas, Sev & so much more in many flavours and varieties! But if you are looking for a cheese overload, then Manek chowk, the largest night food market in Ahmedabad will satisfy all your buttery cravings.
But, Ahmedabad is more than just Gujarati food. Places like the Riverfront, Atal bridge, Sabarmati Ashram are some of the most visited Tourist spots here and on my visit, I tried to cover as many as possible. In terms of shopping, Ahmedabad has a large number of markets and bazaars where you can buy clothes, jewellery, fabrics, etc. Sindhi Market is one of those huge markets and because of the wholesale rates, it’s the best place to shop for weddings and matching outfits.
I tried to explore as much as I could during my time in Ahmedabad and my stay here was a comfortable affair because of the excellent service and hospitality by the WelcomHotel by ITC hotels. Their Deluxe room offers a beautiful city view with many useful amenities and a marvelous bathtub!
But sadly, all good things come to an end, and this video is the last one for my food trail here. But I thought of making this a fun experience by taking a train ride in a Vistadome coach to Mumbai. So stay tuned for all the exciting experiences and come with me to explore the colourful and charming city of Ahmedabad!

  1. Hi. Great video as usual.

Loved the food & places you showed.

The food haul looked super yummy. I wonder whether you have tried methi khakra – they taste VerY good.

That's a LOT of butter in the pav bhaji.😂 Im not a Mumbaikar, but nothing compares to Mumbai's pav bhaji & other street food.

Ghotala dosa! Normally we talk of Kheema ghotala. Looked good though.

    Just my opinion⬇️

I somehow can't stomach shelling out 300+ for veg!, that too just chickpea (besan) based. I think this is where restaurants need to get more realistic. I mean, where does one draw the line. There comes a time when the balloon bursts, isn't it?
I have seen good restaurants crumble, first those who can't afford go away, then those who can, but feel something is not right, finally there comes another equally classy place selling the same stuff for less…its all over then.

    Anyways, good show. Keep going👍

  2. Hey dear, i really luv all your vlogs. U r damn underrated. I luv d fact that in all yours vlogs u just explain everything in a normal way with no over the top drama. More power to u gal. Luv from Assam.

  3. Hi dear , next time pls consider places like Gandhi Aashram ,patang hotel ,law garden chaniya choli market, Raipur Kalupur pole well structured old buildings and many more historic places like Kankaria lake instead of showing 5 star hotel facility .It would be better.

  4. 70₹ for a cup of tea.
75₹ for a cup of coffee.
    200₹ for a masala dosa.
    170₹ for plain dosa.
All these are prices in a medium sized restaurant in Ahmedabad and you dont think/comment it is expensive? Especially for someone who lives in Mumbai.

Compare these prices to any of the best south indian hotel in Mumbai especially in/around Matunga.

  5. Trip was good ,,,oswal food is good but the price are exorbitantly high ,too much for what they offer ,there are better places where u can have good fafda jalebi at far far far reasonable price
