  1. Nice video Kris, that intro made me smile 😂 Good to see how most plants have bounced back from the winter, the bananas have done especially well. I see Mark was on his best behaviour for you, I expected far more abuse in my direction and the weak threat of being banned from his garden won’t keep me away from making a follow up!

  2. Love it mark…lots of shared and new learnings with mine in sw Netherlands, about same age garden. Briljant tour, thx kris for vids.

  3. Again the garden is a real treat. And it’s great to see different attitudes from the low maintenance to the lush foliage.

  4. Don’t take the palm out yet. Wait until next year! Pour some hydrogen peroxide down the middle and cut down the leaves.

  5. The Brahea armata located in the middle of the lawn being much more exposed than the other two, this can partly explain its pitiful state!

  6. Fantastic video, incredible garden! Could you ask Mark where he got his fab hanging baskets from? Love them too!

  7. What exactly is the very tall grass? I've tried searching for what it sounds like you're saying but cannot find it. Thanks!

  8. WOW! Awesome Video. Just a share living in 9b in Houston, Tx. Semi-tropical. Taking so long to watch, but I did watch the part with the demise of the center palm tree. This is what I have learned with a Windmill Palm, cold damaged. Shouldn't have cut the leaves off. When recovering they need even the dead leaves for nourishment. Cut down large trunk now using for air plants and broms. Next year another lesson. Cold again, noticed a Windmill Palm with rot like water in the center. Asked a professional. Said to put Copper Fungicide in the center. Excellent, palm survived. Easy look-up for app. I did notice that the 3 look alike palms (phoenix) actually had different microclimates. One that died was completely in the open. Keep up these Wonderful Videos. Thanks, Chris.

  9. Awesome stuff. For some reason YouTube bombarded me with ads while watching this, so gave up after 40 mins.

  10. Hey Kris,
Always a treat to see Mark’s garden. Awkward jokes and all lmao! He must pee on the banana plants!! Good lessons about the palms and hardiness. If the algae ridden globe fountain is too much work, Aquascape makes a “stacked slate” sphere which is not going to require the algaecide. Mark Wilson is a CAC in the UK.

  11. Wow always good to see fellow YouTubers comparing sizes and shapes. 🤣 Georges garden and sand pit soon 🤣🤣

  12. I always love seeing this guys garden and greenhouse. It’s so amazing love hearing his insight on growing and maintaining a tropical garden. Thanks again for this treat
