We’ll be soaking up the forests, mountains, meadows and lakes through an itinerary full of my top hikes, swim spots, trails and campsites. Swimming, hiking, and camping are my favorite ways to say goodbye to the land. This time exploring washington in my van has been so special, from the trail to the lake to an amazing camp spot in the trees and old growth forest of the pacific northwest. As always with this nature nerd, we’ll be learning about plenty of botany facts, volcano geology, wildlife spotting, and wildflower identification… experiencing the lush meadow of western Mt Rainier in Paradise.

I'm used to the Sierra trails, and I have to say, that is the nicest trail I've ever seen!! You could almost put in passing lanes and a white stripe down the middle. Very nice….
