Sprinkle cayenne pepper around what you are growing so what ever is eating and digging up your stuff won't go back to it
Awesome potato haul. I'm a potato fanatic. Lol
It's always discouraging when the garden gets eaten up.
Potatoes are among the most fun vegetables to grow. Since you never quite know how much you'll get from them, potato sizes, etc. I'm growing potatoes as well, but it'll probably be at least another month before I take them up.
That was exciting to watch you on earth, your potatoes, how funβ€
Great harvest. I got about the same amount when I dug mine.
ππ»πHow cool is that? And tres fun! Who knew potatoes were so easy to grow? It makes no sense why they are so expensive here. Seems like everyone could grow them doesn't it?
My friend has a city garden plot and she invited me along yesterday. I got to pull my own red beets, golden beets and carrots lol. It was great ππ
Awesome potatoes. Love them. Enjoy. Sorry about the rest of the crop. β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
Considering its your first season with your veg you have done awesome! Congratulations! Sprinkle pepper round your veg it keeps the pests away. That's what my partner does. Good luck.
You need to hill (mound up dirt around plant) them.
Great
Potatoβs are so fun to harvest!!!! You did good!!!!π
Seven Spray will keep the bugs from eating ur leaves. Old coffee grinds go to coffee shops they will give u their used grinds! Coffee is bitter and deer and other criteria do not like. Finally, Cayenne pepper, sprinkle around everything. God bless
Wow, beautiful garden.
The coop you have for your chickens; if buy another to keep animals out of your hard work. It would be worth it
Have a designated garden area with only your vegetables and put a fence around it to keep the rabbits out. You may need to put a light screen wire over the top. Your veggies will do well when they donβt have to compete with the grass and weeds around them. We always had great producing gardens which we kept the weeds hoed. Your vegetables need to be planted different inches apart based on the vegetable. You can find all of that information online. Also, plants always do much better in the ground vs the pots. We also made what we called little hills to plant the potatoes.
Those potatoes are going to taste better than anything you have ever had because you grew them.
π Awesome π Nothing like home grown food, tastes great too π
Great little haul.
What part of South Carolina will u be visiting. I live in the upstate area. Love seeing your little fur babies.
Your suppose to leave the potato plants until the plant falls over
If you leave the old potatoes in the ground next year they will come back

Well done on the taters and the kitties are always sweet to see
Awesome day for you Cam, so happy you plucked those potatoes π they turned out great ππ» Sorry your some plants were eaten. Thatβs what natural growing is all about unfortunately. Everyone has to eat even the pests πππ glad you managed to get onions. They also look delicious π until next time ππ»ππ»ππ»βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈπ
Girl, ever since I got my chickens this year I have dealing with serious sparrow and mice issues. My chicken coop is close to my garden and omg they have mobbing it along with eating my chicken feed. I had to cover my beds with chicken wire to keep sparrows away. Set out poison traps for the mice. I even bought a fake owl to help with the issue. Thank god the chickens are killers. They have killed 2 sparrows and one mouse that got in their run. They have eaten almost all of my mint, 3 watermelon plants, two pumpkin plants, 4 cucumber plants, 4 potato plants and all of my radishes. Itβs been a rough summer
