How To Save Money On Plants👍

I’ve always been a bargain hunter and I worked for years as a CFO at various nonprofits with limited resources in the Boston area so I am very tuned into budget constraints. Be economical, whether it’s dividing plants right out of the pot or in your own yard, getting things for free from friends, family or Facebook and other groups, or not buying anything at all because your garden is already too full and you should probably move things around instead.

Other tips: before you go shopping for plants check your own nursery at home. If you are buying new plants I recommend supporting privately owned nurseries.

Location: local nursery and client’s house (as always, the videos are done by clients and these were done by Christina and Carol)

About me: I’m a garden coach and consultant in zone 6 in the Boston area but almost all of the principles I talk about are applicable to any garden. Go to my website on my profile to schedule consultations and more. Unfortunately I don’t have time to answer all the questions so please chime in to help others if you have information to share🌸

  1. We do that with garden plants all the time, but just freshly watch them good then gently pull them appart. but it works.

  2. Some plants are sensitive

Then u see people murdering a rootball, I couldn’t bring myself to do that, I’d just try loosen 😅
