Container Gardening

Creating a Unique Flower Arrangement with Containers | Gardening with Creekside

We are thinking a bit outside the flower box today and creating a unique flower arrangement with containers. I am planting shrubs, perennials, and annuals in a variety of containers to create a colorful garden that is both beautiful and mobile if need be. This concept is perfect for gardeners who have limited space in their yard (or no yard at all) or who have difficulty planting directly in the soil.

  2. If it wasn’t for the camera, which we appreciate very much, it looks very peaceful potting, listening to chicks and petting a grown up Brinna. Fun lesson in potting containers. Thank you.

  3. Your dog is so beautiful, she loves you, and will go to the ends of the the earth to protect you. Love your YouTube channel, a wealth of information and beautiful colors

  4. I love that idea😊of the containers. I can’t wait to see how they turned out 😊beautiful choice of 🌸 flowers 🌺

  5. I do this too! My inside plants go outside on my shade porch in summer in cute little groupings! And over 50 pots dot my 1/4 acre rented homes yard. Love this!!!

  6. Love it! That’s a beautiful grouping of plants and will look wonderful together. I was blessed with a huge antique cast iron pig scalding kettle with feet that came with my home when I bought it years ago. Every year I look forward to planting what I call my “hot” plants in it. It definitely demands watering but is so worth the effort. That’s the fun of gardening – thinking outside the box and enjoying what you have. Where there’s a will, there’s a way. 🙂 Thanks for sharing!

  7. Brenna is the new gardening guard dog! She looks so protective of Jenny and the plants. Love the containers and the plants. They are going to be a beautiful show.

  8. The containers look great! I look forward to seeing how they grow throughout the season 😊 your GSD is so well behaved and obviously protective I’m glad you include her in the videos ❤

  9. I like container gardening. Claus Dalby does an elevated, huge version of this, and I aspire to have something similar soon. As always, I absolutely love to see Brenna. She's such a beauty and enhances these tutorials with her presence.

  10. Definitely informative, fun, and inspirational! Thank you, Jenny, Jerry, and Creekside team❤️🦋💐.

  11. Love the blue pot collection! Will be a beautiful addition to your garden ❤ also love the finished coop wall behind the pots. One project always leads to another! Well done😊

  12. This is not on the subject of the video today, but I remember you doing a video to keep Japanese Beetles off your flower. Can you tell me what you said you poured around your plants to protect them? Also wondering will the Japanese Beetles bother the Supertunia Vista bubblegum petunias?

  13. I put a pugster blue butterfly bush and vinca together in a pot yesterday. Hopefully they will be happy together.

  14. Jenny, our space is small & compact. I have a grouping in a designated spot from my husband. That's where he prefers to park, ugh. cgzone8
