I wanted to share how I create winter interest for my planters. This project takes about 15 minutes and $5 per decorative orb obelisk. Spanish Subtitles Included.

Nicely done. I did one with embroidery hoops but it didn't weather well!
I live in Australia. The items to your Amazon store aren't in the link? Or is it USA only?.
Very clever and informative your video. Thank you.
This is awesome. Thank you for showing us how to do it.
Thank you so much for sharing. This is an awesome project and you are right you save a lot of money just making you own obelisks. My hubby made 2 wood obelisk for my DA Teasing Georgia and so thankful for him. Love love this project and canโt wait to. Thanks again.
Love seeing this crafty side of you and I had been looking into doing these as a diy! Loooove this!!!
This is AWESOME! Iโm doing these for my front bed by my steps.
Looks amazing. Thanks for the ideas. Loved it.
Genius Kimberly!! I am totally going to try this. Thank you for this DIY tip.
Good job ๐๐๐๐
Thank you so much for taking the time to share this brilliant idea with others.
This was fabulous, thank you!
Thank you so much for this project! I can't wait to make some for my garden.
Thank you this is a great DIY! I will make a couple.
Brillient will have to try this
Love this project! How sturdy are the obelisks? Do they hold their shape pretty well if we want to use it as a hanging planter?
Love this idea. I found you after watching the Garden Answers embroidery hoop version. Iโve got the supplies from your list which I believe include 3/4โ x .020 steel strapping but am frustrated bc I canโt make the holes. The nail method didnโt work and now Iโm still struggling while using my electric drill. Any recommendations for me? Thanks, Laure
How thick is the steel strap? Is it 4mm??
Thank you!
Almost any place that receives shipments on pallets will have strapping that they throw away. If you ask, they will usually let you salvage it from their trash
I will give this a try. Very good tutorial! Will save money to buy more plants. ๐
Where can I find the oblesk?
I love it, thank you for sharing
how thick was strapping.; I am looking at one that is 0.02" thick, not sure if thats thick enough to keep shape.
Hello, I have a 16" planter and want to make an orbelisk like this. How long should my strapping pieces be? Thank you!
Sent this one to my husband too๐ค
Kimberly, this video and the wood obelisk are both fantastic! I love the look of these round ones but they are so pricey online or at the nursery. This is great!
โผ๏ธโค๏ธTHANK YOU โผ๏ธ appreciate your tutorial now I know it will be easy to make some for my front porch.
This is incredible
Too much work! I will prefer to buy them ready to use ๐
Hello, I have had my orbelisk outside for about 2 weeks and the material I bought has already rusted. Gee, I was hoping the steel strapping and cabinet pull would not do this. Any suggestions?
Thank you so much for sharing this awsome idea. My husband just now made me four of them for my huge urn planters. They look beautiful! Thank you again for sharing this diy.
