  1. Chickens will teach you so much, just treated one for cocci, and she's doing awesome. Now I have one with the sniffles. Learned to do breast injections. Never imagined I'd be doing that.😂
    They absolutely depend on you❤
Pine Bark nuggets has been awesome in my run to help keep smells down ! Your flock is beautiful 😍

  2. Hey Asia thanks for sharing your story. You’re a good chicken mama 🥰 they all look so happy and healthy. Great job.❤😊

  3. I extended my chicken run. The part I extended I covered it with chicken wire. So far, it's working out. You may want to try that. I already had it on hand for something else. Used zip ties and that gave them extra protection. I used to have a hawk come around. But I haven't seen it lately. That wasn't my issue, it was coyotes. Never new about those little devils until I had my first set of chickens. I'm a little sad I can't let them free range like they use to. Your girls look nice and happy. Thanks for sharing.

  4. I did the same thing you did. I just went and bought them without knowing what I was doing 😅. Still learning.
I also got 7 just in case one or two didn't make it but they're all still here

  5. I have 2 chickens only and 2 pecking ducks I go to tractor supply too we have a metal chicken coop from Amazon have noticed cats and possum around

  6. How many quail do you have in that space? We are looking at getting some and curious on different setups

  7. Always a nice visit! My grandpa converted chain link dog kennels into coops once the birds were big enough no not escape. Worked well!

  8. I’m going to research which are ideal for my area, but those sapphire olive eggers are beautiful. I think I’ve figured out a setup so will start prepping for chickens next year. Thanks for sharing. This was great info.

  9. how many quails you have? Do they take any different care compared to the chickens?

  10. Enjoyed your chicken story. I want to get chickens within the next year or 2 once I am totally settled into the house and get the garden to where I want it. I need to research what breeds would be best for our cold Ohio winters and the best way to keep the predators away. So far I know there are groundhogs and raccoons that I am fighting with in the garden. I have also seen eagles, hawks and vultures in the area. We can have up to 4 hens in the city here.

  11. Could you provide a link to the coop that you bought? I like that it's wood instead of that ugly plastic stuff that alot are made of these days. You do have some nice-looking chickens and the bedding you're using seems to stay very clean! 6 or 7 is about the same number I want.

I bet you could cover that top of the run area with 1/2 inch hardware cloth. I've heard from various chicken people that chicken wire doesn't work well keeping predators out. Hardware cloth is more durable. My area is chain link and not as tall as yours so I might have to rig up something that extends the height and then put hardware cloth on top of that.

  12. Wow' Aisia , it's been a year already that I have followed on your journey as I did my journey into gardening. I have learned so much from you. I am now making plans for changes for next summer. I have a lot of space, but I only use a small portion for gardening, so I have to maximize the use of the area. You have done an awesome job and I enjoy watching your video's. What a great year, let do it again. I have a H.O.A. so no chichens, lol. I am a vidographer that can't find the time to edit as offten as I need to. I will send a link if I deside to start a page. Great job and keep up the good work you g lady. Be blessed!

  13. really enjoyed your video your honesty and genuine nature is awesome keep up the good work 🐔🐔🐔🐔🐔🐔🐔

  14. We're those qual or chicken eggs that you showed in your video? Would ever recommend raising qual for eggs only, for a beginner? I love your videos!

  15. I love your chicken videos 😊 I want to raise some myself, but just waiting until I get the space to be able to. I do have one question – do you ever have issues with chickens eating their eggs? I have zero experience with chickens, but have heard that can happen sometimes. Thanks so much for your informative videos ((:

  16. So, if you had the opportunity, would you buy a place with more space,so you could expand the gardens??!! Just wondering.☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️

  17. I love my chickens. They are a lot of responsibility. I also got chickens before I even had a place for them. I underestimated my neighbors dogs and lost my first flock. I love my ducks too, but they are messy

  18. I Appreciate how honest and true life you are. I love watching hing you as I learn a lot (no chickens yet, but my son a daughter does). As long as you have a channel I will certainly follow. Thank you for sharing your journey.
