Okay, so this plant is not exactly a head turner, but lately I’ve been wanting to try growing the stuff that you almost never hear about anyone growing. Out of all the various mesembs up for auction in my country, this plant has by far the least information about its cultivation online, almost zero mention of it anywhere on Reddit, BCSS, Cactiguide, etc. Apparently the species is synonymous with ‘Namibia ponderosa’, although I’ve come across some pages that claim they are separate (but very similar) species.
If you have ANY information at all about raising these plants, I’d love to hear it. For now I’m going to just give it a “general mesemb” care regimen and hope for the best.
