Alberta Urban Garden: Australian Urban Garden Part II

After a tough year of slugs and opossums Alexander took the lessons in turn and regrouped. Having lost all of his plants he re-planted his garden.

In order to fight the slugs Alexander went down to the local coffee shop and grabbed used coffee grounds which he spread on the soil. This appears to have kept them away long enough for the plants to develop fruit. When the fruit was ripe the dreaded opossum took his lunch a few times in the garden.

With some planning we look forward to next growing season!

Some of my favorite childhood memories are of gardening with my parents and brothers. This channel is about low cost organic urban gardening in zone 3. I am by no means an expert gardener however I love to share my experiments and journey garden year round. Please feel free to join the conversation and if you think you might like this channel subscribe. Have a great day!
