California Gardening: Quick Buckwheat Noodles With Stir Fried Veggies Recipe

In today’s episode we show you a very simple, easy to cook buckwheat noodles (soba or japanese noodle) recipe with stir fried veggies.

Ingredients:

1. Buckwheat noodles: http://amzn.to/1RAs4l1

3. Szechuan sauce: http://amzn.to/1ULZh3u
4. Sambal oelek: http://amzn.to/1VLMDRA
5. Soy Sauce: http://amzn.to/1RAsrvF

Chopped veggies – Broccoli, carrots, Peppers (Capsicum), Green onions, etc

Method:

1. Bring water to boil in a large pan
2. Add the buckwheat noodles in water
3. Cook for 10 minutes and keep aside
4. In a separate pan, add 2-3 tbsp oil, heat for a few mins
5. Add a fgew drops of sesame oil
6. Add 2-3 whole red chillies
7. Add the stir fried veggies and fry for 3 minutes. Do not overcook!
8. Add the sambal oelek, stir fry sauce and mix well
9. Add the noodles now and mix for 2-3 mins
10. Add the soy sauce as needed

DONE!

Notes:
1. If you like it a little less saucy, add more noodles!
2. Add roasted peanuts for a different kick
3. When adding the red chillies, add crushed garlic and ginger for a bolder flavor
