What a drag!
Consider tenting your garden with cable trellises and greenhouse plastic on top like an outdoor roof.
I’ve done my raised beds individually and so far it’s been very effective against driving rains in my area, the PNW, we get hail sometimes too.
I also have my more delicate plants like my herbs and lettuces hooped and covered with frost blankets. They still get light and water from the rain but they don’t get shredded to pieces or smashed down.
Dude, that’s like sleet. Real hail busts your windows out and kills animals.
