  2. I like the idea of re-purposing containers for starting seeds. I don't buy seed starting trays. But, your idea for using things to protect the plants from cold nights is great a one! It was amazing that our spring came a week and a half early in Northern NY, zone 4a. That is really unheard of! The only things left for us is tomatoes, peppers, and eggplant. I only planted two milk jugs, and that was late in the winter. It was all Larkspur. You have some very nice plants. Lets hope your temps rise soon for you. Take care!
