Vermicomposting, or composting with worms, is one of the best ways to integrate food scraps into your garden. Worms make short work of most food scraps and create wonderful BLACK GOLD, or worm castings. Castings are one of the best soil amendments you can ask for, and better yet…worms are easy to care for!
In today’s video we take a look at a DIRT SIMPLE (pun intended) system from my friends at Uncle Jim’s Worm Farm. They sent out a kit, as well as some red wigglers and european worms to start off the bin with.
