Container Garden Tour | July 2023 Zone 6

You can grow a lot of food in pots, even if you don’t have a lot of space. Let’s tour my container garden on my back deck and I’ll show you what I have growing.

  2. Even if you don't like the clementine fruit once it grows, you can always use it as a rootstock for a variety that you do like!

  3. I have more success growing peppers and eggplants in containers, too. Plus I can easily take them to the garage when garden season is over.

  4. Hey Jennifer! This was an interesting video and topic. I have accumulated a big supply of containers from all of the trees and shrubs I have purchased from orchards over the past few years. I am looking for some way to put them to use. You have so much food growing on your deck!! I need to get them filled with soil and planted. Especially seeing how many plants you fit in one pot.

  5. That habanada looks so healthy and pretty. My favorite thing to use the sugar rush peach pepper for is pepper jelly- I’d recommend just using smaller jars since it’s super good, but we don’t eat a bunch of it at any one time. It is perfect to use a small jar of pepper jelly over cream cheese or goat chestnut and add crackers. It is a hit at parties or potlucks. Our season is off to a weird start too. It has been so cool in spring/summer but we had a couple of weeks that were really hot and it seems to mess up the garden. I hope you are having a great week! -Cady
