#Timing also plays a very #important #role in pruning #outside of #subtropical and #tropical #climates. Here it’s more about what stage of growth your #plant is at – our okra plant has already given us 3 #harvests and was growing very #tall for the #size of #pot that it is #planted in.
One solution is that we can just transplant the plant to a #bigger #pot but our #urbangarden #space is quite #full.
So the alternative is to #prune back the plant and in the space of 5 days, there are so many #new #leaves and #flower #buds so we’re #excited that there will be some new #harvests of #okra on the way from our #urbangarden 🪴💚
