Here’s how I installed the easiest garden border lawn edging I’ve ever done to define my cherry laurel trees. After all of the other projects I’ve done using cement, mortar beds, etc, I think this is perfect for beginners!
What do you think of this EZ border recycled tyre rubber edging? *Formerly known as Ecoborder.
*ALSO, I correct myself. Multy Home state in their video “these products are not suitable for soil retention or containment. These are decorative edges for separation of garden aggregates and lawn. They are not suitable replacements for retaining wall building materials.”
Disclaimer: I am an ambassador again this year for WD40: https://wd40.co.uk/
I had friction hand sawing the edging, so sprayed with their silicone spray to remove any tension.

I'm sure you have T-lights, I find that rubbing both sides of the panel saw eases the passage through difficult material. Damp timber ect.
Looks brilliant.
Looks good & easy to install, not heard of it before, but very expensive.
Looks great ππ
Your definitely going OCD,, probably going to have to up your medication π πππ
Those eurbeuer tools are good arnt they
Nice job vikki I try this looks great popsiπ¬π§π
Hiya Vikkie, what a coincidence as we were only looking at similar border edging ay B&M today.
We wen't into Home Bargains Garden section but we did not see any of the edging that you used but we will have a look next time w
we go in so thank you for making this great video (it looks great btw)& telling us where to get the materials from : )
All the best.
Beautiful back yard you have there. Your hard work is paying off. Pleas be careful using that glass table as a saw bench. You don't want that to shatter.
This looks great! I'll have to go get some of this edging. I'm working my garden currently. I finally built a trommel and screening away all the rocks…So many rocks! I can't plant yet. Colorado is famous for attempting to get into spring, but winter holds on here.
Great upgrades for your garden. It's really taking shape. Hope that we get some good weather again in the near future, so you can get the sun loungers out ππ
That looks pretty good from the distance. (Not inferring it looks crappy close up π
Good job π
Looks fab Vikkie I didnβt know they were available
Ooh I need this, just dug up loads of that rotten log roll edging so it needs replacing
Great idea using recycled materials. I have a personal dislike of concrete and can see this is a non-perishable alternative to treated wood. B&M here I come!
Apologies – I meant to say B&M, not Home Bargains in case I have you driving to the wrong shop π This is the one I bought: https://www.bmstores.co.uk/products/flexi-scallop-curve-border-grey-371724
*ALSO, I correct myself. Multy Home state in their video "these products are not suitable for soil retention or containment. These are decorative edges for separation of garden aggregates and lawn. They are not suitable replacements for retaining wall building materials."

THIS is a brilliant option for 'Grave-Care' as cheaper concrete versions break too easily, and the 'better' ones are just TOO DANG DEAR !! £££'s ….. Good Stuff π
plant π
Vikkie, if you ever decided you'd like a second husband can I marry you. I need a wife like you π
fab idea , I'm looking at cutting a pa the way into my garden ,this would be a good alternative to a wood edging
Nice job Vicky ,my wife would have buried me under that soil for cutting it on our rattan furniture ππ
I used it last year for my flower bed. It's a great product .10/10
Wow, that looks really GREAT! Just one question…what is "haunching"?
Landscape gardening?? That only garden maintenance. Far from Landscaping.
I'm a big fan of this lady, she does it all!
I never saw the material in any store I have been in. I do not see it at Home Depot I do not see it at Lowe's. Who sales that material?? Thank you California
Thank you for mentioning that this scalloped edging isn't as bendy as the thinner ones. I have a very curvy lawn so from your video have decided that the thinner edging would be better. You have saved me wasting my money. π
Thank you lovely a cheap easy manageable way of completing one's edging from a woman perfect just what I need as I am a a new diy gardener
That's brilliant, and what a great way to reuse old tires π
And that's a SHIT load of Laurel you have there, fair play. That's bloody gorgeous. Truly lovely and hardy evergreen ππ
Oh yeah, put the masking tape to guide the cutting, instead of cutting through it. 2:27 why didn't you just dig down there, instead of cutting the rubber border? π ππ
Love this! I'll be trying this out soon. Thank you for sharing!
Hey! Iβm doing this for a customer soon. Was wondering how much to charge for something like this.
thanks so much
When using a strimmer won't that cut through it
This looks really nice not sure I could do this myself though
" GREAT JOB "
