Hi Jenny I want to ask u I just purchased some tulips bulbs, I live in zone 9b my question is should I water them once I plant them.My zone can be quite hard to understand because we hardly never have cold temp. I'm probably even sure that if I were to plant them now they would probably even grow😊 anyway great day🌷🌷
Hostas just “melt” when the frost hits!
In Tidewater area of Virginia we have yet to get down to the 20s. My marigolds are going strong, along with some petunias. Annuals seeds have sprouted along with winter weeds. It is suppose to be colder this week.
Do you sell those garden mushrooms you have there? Love those.
I use to have 2 turtles in my townhouse garden (fenced in). They took care of all my slugs and snails around my hostas.
Would you recommend Land and Sea over mulch? 🤗
I just noticed those large evergreen trees just down from your driveway. What is the name of those trees and their general height and width size? Thanks for the info. 🤗
Thanks Jenny. 🌲💚🙃
Is there a reason for the trellis behind your White By the Gate Camellia? Do you have it attached to the trellis, or is it just for the look?
Beautiful
Miss brynna is the perfect accent for the flower bed, pretty girl. Amazing difference a clean up can make!! 😊
My favorite garden job.
Clean up
What about primulas or primrose for the shade side of the garden and hay rack? Lots of love from South Africa. God bless! ❤
Lol, I like a daily, weekly clean-up of our garden. I like neat and tidy. No leaves or debris lying around. Maybe I am too much, but I hate a mess! 😂😂😂
Love it all & thanks for video. Wanted you to see Robbie with Visit Our Garden channel he made a gorgeous dusty Miller wreath reminds me of something you would make. ❤
There are no "Garden Police"…truth! I have some areas I can leave alone for the pollinators, but my main beds I now clean up with a fresh dressing of compost combined with chopped up leaf debris. Spring will be so much easier next year!
Looks beautiful!
Love the clean up. My beds look so naked. We have a lot of redbud babies coming up everywhere and grow so fast. I wish I never had a redbud tree which is gone now.
Hello Jenny, I hope you and your family had a great Thanksgiving. I have a question about top dressing soil. In my area, I have a difficult time getting Land and Sea. I know you used some Black Gold earlier in some of your spring videos. Would you say this would be good to use to top dress my beds for winter. I love your videos you and Jerry have help me a lot.
Looks so nice and clean Jenny!
Wow Jenny that looks amazing! I love the pop off those bright mums!
Do you cover or wrap your camellia during a hard freeze? I have a camellia japonica that I planted this fall- it is full of buds just like yours. But I am wondering if the buds will be damaged in temps below 32. Our forecast is showing a few nights in the mid 20s this week so I want to make sure it is protected. Thanks!
