I Literally Got Paid Peanuts! FROZEN Garden Makeover | Clearing Overgrown Neglected Yard

This Frozen garden makeover where I get paid in Peanuts, seeds, bird feeders and a bug hotels instead of cash.
Part of a cunning plan to rejuvenate this garden and create a wonderful outdoor space and wildlife friendly garden 😁🐝🐞🌱

A young lady asked me to take a look at this garden and had recently moved in, very busy with work already and spending time fixing up the inside, she asked for help with the garden.
The weather had just recently started to get cold, but she really needed the garden tidying up as her dog would need to use it over winter.
Not ideal, but I said I would help anyway, in exchange for creating a more wildlife friendly space.

And why not…..
Hope you enjoy the first part of this garden makeover.
Thanks
Martin The Garden Guy.

  1. А что, у тебя отлично всё вышло. Продолжай, задумка имеет смысл и продолжение.👏👍🤗

  2. Loved this video, I’m a avid gardener and it fascinates me to watch what gardeners do in other countries. I’ve learned alot by watching them and plan to incorporate some of the shrubs and flowers I’ve seen on them. You did a wonderful job on her garden, she’s lucky to have you. My favorite video you’ve done so far. I’m from Massachusetts on the other side of Plymouth, yup The Mayflower, Pilgrims etc. 😇. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and work with us. Sincerely, Carol

  3. Those long-handled ’side shears’ are awesome! Is there a brand or better name? I want to try to find those here in the states.
What a great shape up and goal for her garden! 🎉

  4. Great job and a great video! Sorry to see you working in the cold but I expect that is what it is for you, "so wot" (an expression an English nun (Sister Jane) said in a book I have been reading). I hop[e you and your family have a great holiday. I hope we continue to see videos throughout the cold season. Thanks for sharing! George from Florida, USA

  5. 🥰🥰🥰 The bird feeders made my heart soooo happy! I love birds too! Great job all around, absolutely love your videos!

  6. First time seeing your channel. I’m so impressed. I especially like when you describe what the plant names are. I really like watching yard/garden transformations or just maintaining it…the key word watching. I can’t stand doing it. It’s great to know there are people like you who love it.

Seems to me that the Brits are pretty much the only yard guys who get down on hands and knees to weed.
How long in real time did this take?

  7. Thanks for explaining when you're taking something out such as the weeds and undesirable plants (for those of us in the US), and leaving the desirable plants like the the butterfly bush, peony, etc. You're the real deal.

  8. You! Made me a subscriber. I never ever seen anyone like you cut those white Vines like you did on one knee by The Roots.
That was an amazing job you did on this Frozen Garden.

Taking care of the birds and is a good thing, during the winter months.

Just keep up the good work and I hope you don't have any real time. Watching you work at that speed, was good and that is another reason why I subscribed and gave you a thumbs up!👍

  9. Nice job Martin, I'm a new subscriber to your channel and hope to see a lot more of your video's. Planting some Hosta's with variegated foliage might be an idea, they also attract bee's etc when in flower as seeing the fern says it could be a more shaded area so they should do well provided the slugs and snail's can be kept at bay. Great to watch gardeners with plant knowledge, thanks ❤

  10. Such an awesome transformation! I'm sure the yard will be a wildlife oasis when complete and I look forward to seeing it spring to life! 🌹🌷🌻🌼

  11. look forward to see what its like in spring i would say a budleia and some flox as they have always proven good for me for the butterflys and of course you cant go wrong with some lavender aswell

  12. Well I'll be hanged. Never thought anyone would outdo Quick Cuts but you did it. Great work and you fed the critters. Outstanding job sir. Thanks for sharing with us.
