The trick with parchment paper is to crush it first, and then it stays put when you place it in the container and smooth it out.

Robbie needs to start a sourdough playlist if he doesnβt already have one going.
A trick to keeping the bread round is to put the parchment paper in a skillet first and letting it rise there. The skillet sides help retain the shape. After it rises and is ready for baking, lift the parchment paper and bread and transfer it to the Dutch oven. The hack is from Americaβs Test Kitchen.

Pamela, I only use a black cast iron Dutch oven for my sourdough bread. Works fantastic!

The metric system is what we use in Canada. π¨π¦
But I switch between the metric system and Imperial often. Depending on the source of the recipe I'm following.
But metric is a more precise form of measurment.
