  1. The trick with parchment paper is to crush it first, and then it stays put when you place it in the container and smooth it out.

  2. A trick to keeping the bread round is to put the parchment paper in a skillet first and letting it rise there. The skillet sides help retain the shape. After it rises and is ready for baking, lift the parchment paper and bread and transfer it to the Dutch oven. The hack is from Americaโ€™s Test Kitchen.

  3. The metric system is what we use in Canada. ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ
But I switch between the metric system and Imperial often. Depending on the source of the recipe I'm following.
But metric is a more precise form of measurment.

Nice viideo.. to the two Musketeers ๐Ÿ‘

    Edit
I think that your bread would turn out nice without the added yeast. But I get the added jnsurance.

  4. Janey! I can't believe that you got a (beautifully packaged and kindly personalized) parcel to me in Canada so quickly! Thank you! ๐Ÿ’š I proudly wore my new shirt to work today while I currently only see my garden in daylight on weekends ๐Ÿ˜

  5. What a fun video!! I think you're supposed to preheat the Dutch oven first then put the dough in dutch over and bake. I love you guys!! โค So fun!!

  6. So fun! My mouth was watering! Love love bread, and sourdough is my fav! Ill have to try making some if i can find starter this winter. Janey i bet your house smelled AMAZING ๐Ÿ’š

  7. Your happy gathering made me happy! Wishing I had smellavision, and just seeing that warm bread made me salivate!๐Ÿ˜‹
