  1. @migardener you were correct, Cactus seeds, just like "apple seeds" (not "apples seeds") 😊

  2. I lost over 100 cactus plants that I`d collected (or grew from seed) over the years while I was out of town during a sudden freeze.

  3. I start my finicky seeds in a vial of sterile water and hydrogen peroxide. Between a 40 to 1 and a 3 to 1 ratio depending on species and how hard they are to sprout.

  4. Blackout dome… under a grow light. Do you want light or not? Well, those cactus seeds need to EARN their light… by germinating.

  5. Hmmm… maybe I need to try this for next year's onions. Oh, and those pesky peppers that seem to take forever to decide if they're coming or not.

  6. Just remember to keep plural and singular terms alike in a sentence or paragraph. Same thing goes for tense, gender and person designations.

  7. I never have luck with seeds and am bad at managing the moisture, so now I just sprout everything in paper towels in baggies so I have less room to mess up.

  8. i absolutely adore Echinacea but always struggle with them. I also struggle with lavender, rosemary, and chamomile seeds. Hopefully when I try this method it will help. I do still have a question though. What if all the seeds don't germinate at the same time? Do you leave the cover over them to let them germinate as well or just look for the majority to have germinated? Also, if I do not have a dark cover like the seed tray could I use cardboard maybe instead?

  9. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Come to of it , we live in Texas and wild flowers come up every year. The seeds drop and no ons burys them or waters them , unless it rains. We is beautiful fields of flowers, especially in the hill country. Mother nature is awesome.✌️👍
    Happy holidays!

  10. Will that work on sweet granadilla? I have not been able to get any of the to germinate, it's possible that the person I got the seed from ripped me off, I don't know. Thanks Luke
