Dude, you don't say beans seeds or lettuces seeds. Why would you say cacti seeds?
It is cactus seeds and then when they all grow, you will have cacti 😅
in the wild, very few seeds are buried
@migardener you were correct, Cactus seeds, just like "apple seeds" (not "apples seeds") 😊
I lost over 100 cactus plants that I`d collected (or grew from seed) over the years while I was out of town during a sudden freeze.
What about Chili Paqin? I have tried to germinate Chili Paqin and fail every time
Cactus seeds because you would say tomato seeds not tomatoes seed. Hehe
"Cactus Seedi" LOL
Can you do a video on germinating coffee seeds and bay leaf seeds? I always have issues with those!
I start my finicky seeds in a vial of sterile water and hydrogen peroxide. Between a 40 to 1 and a 3 to 1 ratio depending on species and how hard they are to sprout.
Thank you for sharing, I bought two different orders of seeds from you and am chopping at the bit to get started!
Q: are chia seeds finicky?
I did like your logic that it's seeds from a cactus therefore cactus seeds 🙂
Blackout dome… under a grow light. Do you want light or not? Well, those cactus seeds need to EARN their light… by germinating.
You would not say carrots seeds. You would say carrot seed. You have cactus seed. The seeds of many cacti.
Hmmm… maybe I need to try this for next year's onions. Oh, and those pesky peppers that seem to take forever to decide if they're coming or not.
Thank you. Very helpful. I have problems with rosemary and lavender ❤
Spearmint is my finicky seed to germinate.
Just remember to keep plural and singular terms alike in a sentence or paragraph. Same thing goes for tense, gender and person designations.
Where do you get your lithop seeds?
I never have luck with seeds and am bad at managing the moisture, so now I just sprout everything in paper towels in baggies so I have less room to mess up.
You are so overthinking the whole cactus/cacti thing. Do you plant tomato seeds or tomatoes seeds?
i absolutely adore Echinacea but always struggle with them. I also struggle with lavender, rosemary, and chamomile seeds. Hopefully when I try this method it will help. I do still have a question though. What if all the seeds don't germinate at the same time? Do you leave the cover over them to let them germinate as well or just look for the majority to have germinated? Also, if I do not have a dark cover like the seed tray could I use cardboard maybe instead?
Well you wouldn't say "carrots seeds" or "tomatoes seeds" so "cactus seeds" sounds right to me.
cactaceous
You're right, Luke. Cactus seeds! 🌵
Maybe the "cacti seed" 😂🤷
Why can't you ship to Australia?
So does that mean you have Lithop seed? I am a huge fan of Lithops
Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
Come to of it , we live in Texas and wild flowers come up every year. The seeds drop and no ons burys them or waters them , unless it rains. We is beautiful fields of flowers, especially in the hill country. Mother nature is awesome.✌️👍
Happy holidays!
Cactus seeds. Cacti is plural referring to many cactus plants, but when planting seeds of one variety, it is cactus seeds.
Yes. Carrots. They have been a challenge.
Cactus Seeds for one variety. Cacti seeds if you have multiple species' seeds.
Luke! How tall are you?
Will that work on sweet granadilla? I have not been able to get any of the to germinate, it's possible that the person I got the seed from ripped me off, I don't know. Thanks Luke
