One Yard Revolution: Our Leaf Haul so Far: Leaf Mold, Leaf Compost, Leaf Mulch

I can get a little obsessive about collecting leaves for our garden. I collect so many that it may seem that I have more than enough, but by late spring or early summer I will most likely be out of leaves again. In this video, I show how many leaves I’ve collected and how I’m putting them to use in the garden.

OYR is all about growing a lot of food on a little land using sustainable organic methods, while keeping costs and labor at a minimum. Emphasis is placed on improving soil quality with compost, mulch, and compost tea. No store-bought fertilizers, soil amendments, pesticides, compost activators, etc. are used.
