Thank you all so much for stopping by today it is another cold day to me um and it’s actually supposed to rain about a 30% chance but I want to go ahead and Tackle this project before it rains so that the plants can go ahead and get
Some rain on them to get some of that good nutrients I’ve had these plants and I’ve been wanting to do this project for about 3 weeks now so I really want to get them out of the containers but one thing that I noticed and I will show
Y’all in a minute is that here ever since I’ve been buying things like pansies and patunas and violas the bud worms are really bad here so I am just going to make it to where I am going to just do a weekly spring of the BT
Because that’s the only way I feel like I can get them up under control uh because they just look bad so some of the plants look bad but again I’m just GNA start a a regiment I’m just GNA get on a schedule to do that because I love
To grow those flowers so let me show you exactly what we’re going to do today what we’re going to work on and get this done before the rain so let’s go ahead and let’s get Started okay so again y’all this has been here for a while it’s been the holiday we’ve had guest over um and a lot of things got slowed down tremendously but these were the planters that we brought with us and I really like these Planters I got a good deal on
These Planters but when I started to plant them up I just did like a really light top coat of black spray paint because they were starting and you may can see them and I’m not going to really worried about them but they were just looking so gray um so you see how this
Is right here they were looking like that and they were looking dull and now that I’m talking to y’all I think I’m do one more quick spray before I plant them up but while I’m letting them dry what I’ll do is I’ll go ahead and show you the plants
That we’re going to put in here um and plant I don’t think I’m going to plant the two Planters together I do have a space uh for one and then probably another one I’ll just put in the front by the flag that we have with the
Welcome flag and I’ll probably end up I got to change out Flags but we might not do that today let me go ahead I’m going to do a top coat because you really can see the difference there let me do just a quick top coat really quick um and
Just go around this I think this is I think this is okay I really I’m telling y’all I cleaned these off but they’ve been sitting here for like two about about two weeks they they going to be they’re going to be okay because I want people
To look at flowers don’t don’t focus on the pot although the pot will be yeah it’ll be fine it’ll give it a age look so let me go ahead do these two and while I’m doing those two while those are drying I’m going to go ahead and
Show you what we’re going to plant in here just for a little color for the rest of the winter okay so once again we’re gonna plant some pansies in those Planters because pansies really can uh bring you color during the fall and the winter months and they so far have survived at
Least down to 25° but I have two colors here so I got these from my favorite Pike Nurseries because um these were really supposed to be planted like around uh December but it’s no time like right now um so far they’re doing good but I did get these a
Little bit later than the other ones I just like the throw if you can see it of these um it’s like a burgundy BL I think this is like a yeah Majestic giant with red blotch but to me they’re more burgundy now this is what I was telling y’all about I’ve had
These a little bit longer but you see how they’re being eaten and we’re just going to have to start spraying and what I like about these is this has like the yellow right here which will match the yellow right here but I really need to get these out
Of um these containers but again um it’s going to rain today so I’m not going to um spray it with the BT today but I am going to put it like on a I’ll start off probably with a by-weekly schedule um just because it’s still a little cold
See how that does if it doesn’t seem to be doing um getting any better then we’ll change it to a weekly schedule but this is what I wanted to show you and I know these are Bud worms I’ve dealt with these before and that’s why I use BT I’m
Going to go ahead and trim off the ones that have um flowered and uh starting to go to seed so that it can push out some new growth um and some new flowers and some new colors so I’m going to get these planted up I got to go find my
Gloves y’all it’s a little bit cold out here and so I’ll show you the results once we’re done because I want to let the Planters dry real good and then um that way we’ll have those planted we can get these out the way which I’m slowly but surely um getting everything planted
Um but I know that the fall or the spring season is going to be here before I know it so I just want to get a move on things I’m making a little bit of progress uh but I’m not going to be too hard on myself cuz it’s been cold out
Here and then sometimes it’s raining and I’m still working and it gets dark at night so we’re going to get it done so just make sure that y’all hit the Subscribe button and follow us along because we have some amazing videos coming and some amazing things that is
About to get ready to happen this Year How how have a how A How okay y’all so if you listen very closely it’s starting to rain they said a 30% chance at 6:00 is nowhere near 6:00 but we did get one of the Planters planted so it’s cold and I’m not about to be out here in this rain like this so
We’re going to let the rain just go ahead and you know water that in at least I don’t have to water everything in I’m going to let the rain do it now I’m going to get everything and then once the rain stops uh hopefully I’ll be
Able to go ahead and get the other planter planted today but I am going to go ahead and put it this one is going right there in that area right there so I hope this was helpful I’ll keep you all posted make sure you hit the Subscribe button because I want you all
To see um how we get more winter color in the garden uh you see that I did take a few of the spent blooms off just because I want the plant to stop putting energy um into producing seed and to go ahead and make more new blooms so as the
Weather starts to warm up a little bit we get closer to Spring I know that they will start flourishing I did plant them a little bit closer than normal because I really want this planter to be full and just with pops of color so as always
