Hummingbird Gardening

Landscape Design Basics
1. Establish a focal point. The center of your garden.
2. Think of color, texture, heights and widths.
3. Balance. Think triangles – all sizes to help with balance in your landscape plan.
4. Think in odd numbers. Nature does not line plants in neat rows and even numbers.
5. Curves are good just don’t over do it.

Plants to attract hummingbirds (red is the primary color):
Red Sage
Dwarf Turk’s Cap
Dwarf Poinciana
Coral Bean
Flame Acanthus
