  1. This year i decided to get just sunflower seeds for my bird feeders. These birds love it and it's brought in different breeds of birds that I've never seen at my feeders before. 2 outside of my livingroom that i could watch all day. ❤
My chickens like them 2 because the birds will actually fling some down on the ground for them. So neat to watch.

  2. Those birds are beautiful. They look similar but with the red they are different than the ones that we have in Europe.

  3. My Tweety Birds came back when the cold arrived in Louisiana. They left when it started getting cooler in fall. Not sure where they went? But they`re back now and they ate nearly 4 pounds of seeds before noon on the first extremely cold morning. I gotta find cheap seeds. I bought a 30 pound bag of black oil sunflower seeds and a 20 pound bag of mixed seeds, and blended those. I like to take pictures of them in spring on an old dryer someone left on this rural lot that I use as a feeding platform and watch the Cardinals raise their young. They help out a lot with vegetable garden pests too. I had to help the birds and animals/reptiles through the terrible drought last year and a bunny that nests here. She was fun to interact with. I`ve never had a wild bunny friend. I let her have my bush green beans and grew pole beans for myself.

  4. When I moved into my home 22 years ago, I had Cardinals & Blue Jays. I haven’t seen either in over 15 years? Just the sweet little birds….i love them. The tweet and have such sweet sounds….❤

  5. How do you keep the starlings from taking over your feeder? They took over the feeder and ran all my song birds off. They ate all 25 pounds of birdseed!

  6. Hello there dear kaye. Oh my just beautiful. Look at the darling cardinal. We do not have them here.tgey are all lovely. So pleased you are feeding them too.xxbleas you hugs from Heather xxoh! I love the tone of your chimes also.xxhappy Saturday evening xx

  7. What are the ones with red on their throats? I've never seen those kind of birds before. They're pretty

  8. My birds are my pets and I just love them all! They keep me entertained! Is that a Woodstock Wind Chime? They make beautiful music.

  9. I used to photograph all the birds at my feeders until kittens showed up at my house a couple of years ago. Now I don’t want to feed the outdoor cats my birds so I no longer do feeders.
