Lapidaria and C. peculiaris seedling care

Heya. I recently got these seedlings under some stronger lights and thought it might be good to check if they look healthy. I’ve had more experience growing lithops seedlings so these have been a new challenge. Key things I want to ask:

The lapidaria in the first picture are on their second true leaves. Should I be encouraging absorption of the lower leaves by reducing watering, or allow them to stack as the adult plants do?

For the Cheridopsis peculiaris I was curious if I want them to keep the first leaves or allow them to be absorbed so that only the first true leaves are present. From memory these are the summer leaves, so I’m not sure if I should be holding back on the water and reducing the lighting as NZ moves into spring – to encourage the new leaves out. Also are these too crowded?

Thanks!
