The succulents with character:
2️⃣ Each time I notice a dropped leaf from my Burro’s Tail, I *calmly* put it back into the pot.
3️⃣ The “character” of these succulents comes from the light situation – having a large nearby skylight. The sun only peeks through during the summer afternoons so for most of the days, the plants are getting soft indirect light (200-400 foot-candles measured at the top of the shelf).
4️⃣ Page 73 of my book ‘The New Plant Parent’ – Image (2) shows how new growth emerges from the fallen leaf. Image (3) is how this plant looked about 3 years ago.
