Good morning everybody Welcome to a Pancake Day episode of Chris and Eve we are just looking up a recipe for like the thick pancakes but the internet’s got a CR it’s back on now is it um scotch pancakes or the American style ones because here we tally make creps

But we wanted to make the thicker ones for the girls we have Internet Scotch pancakes anyway we’ve had a whole array of toppings requested which include but are not limited to ice cream chocolate strawberries bananas grapes syrup whipped cream or squirty cream so we’ve got most of those things strawberries um

Couple of chocolate buttons some grapes cut up uh I’m a lemon and sugar guy but I’m going to have mine on like a crep as traditional English Pancake Day uh and I think Eve is you doing lemon and sugar oh yes so yeah that is what we’re currently doing egg ready yeah oh

Just saw so this is out the back of the kitchen window and we’ve been feeling a bit like it’s not looking cottagey anymore as in the garden sort of not a cottage Garden because we stripped all back with the lawn but I think it’s because it’s winter because we’ve deeded

This bed from the little bits that had growing Through The Mulch and moved one of the hyd Rangers to the middle but this is looking so bare because it’s winter but it gets completely full of purple geranium flowers and then the hyd Rangers are sort of Pinky white color and then these

Patches of green grow up just around the window sill height and they’re tall purple sort of flowers They’re called aconites so this whole bed is full of flowers and there a bit more pretty sort of cottagey feel in the summer so we basically prepared that bed for the

Summer the alien bulbs that we planted are growing here as well everywhere else we planted them they haven’t grown and to all of you who told us this would happen that the squirrels we reckon ate all of the crocus bulbs and that was about 250 of them because nothing’s

Growing and there’s holes where we planted them so we’re pretty sure that that’s happened so yeah that’s that bed so that will be full of flowers by June May June time and then this bed we have all these an enemies that hide the air conditioning unit and we need to replace

Some of the Box hedge here and then we’ve got hyd Ranger and this is filled with tall pink flowers as well it’s looking completely bare guys that’s the same problem with winter it it makes it look so Stark but in a few months time it will look completely different and

Then in this bed we cleared everything out again cut everything down and this is like a red ACA tree we’ve got a hydr here and these are sort of green plants and it fills out so yeah this will all be covered in Flowers by the summer

Hopefully uh and then we got this bed we didn’t mulch this bed at the end of last year so this morning it was completely and utterly covered in Weeds so I’ve deeded it but it kind of looks messy cuz there’s leaves and stones in there but you can see the individual plant plants

Actually fill this place out with flowers are left but yeah hopefully by sort of June time this will all be full of leaves and colors and looking a bit more summery and we got some trees all up here that will fill out as well we’ve got this bed by our front door with

Three box of spalls in and then we have these plants they’re called Gora you might remember them from Vlogs like Rose’s birthday they’re kind of really tall and Whimsical white and pink flowers and they they um sort of blow in the wind but we’ve trimmed that all down

De weeded and then we got these frames from e mom for Christmas Agri frames that should support them a bit better and we moved them into the middle cuz they were along the sides where they were smaller but now they’re bigger plants they sort of come up to maybe

This height which is like 3 4T tall maybe that will help support them so yeah we’re getting on top of it I’ve got Chris’s hoodie on cuz I was a little bit cold basically World Book Day is coming up on the was it the sixth or sth 7th I

Think 7th of March Rose is loving Zog at the moment so who’s this going to dress up as a z we did ask them what they wanted to dress up as and this was what they gave us as an answer books and then poppy said Stickman

So Poppy’s going to oh might the front that’s Rose and that’s poppy although we talk about Stickman all the time we watch it on Amazon because it’s one of the free Julia Johnson’s um what would you call it St narrated animated story animated that’s the word story U which

Really captivates them so it has been one of the Julia Donaldson books that I have wanted to purchase so I used world book day as the excuse it’s £4 as well so definitely affordable so for Rose we’ve got the stickman big book for reading normal Pages paper pages and

Then poppy at their clubs and activities that the kiddies go to they have to take the the book with the outfit if that makes sense so I would be stick fan and this is Poppy so we got her cuz Poppy’s still a bit destructive shall we say

With books so we’ve got Poppy the board book basically but it’s the whole book but in cardboard so it’s well I’m sure she can still rip it but it’s less likely to it’s less destructible but still but they’re really pretty and it’s I think it’s funny that she picked it

Because we’ve gone on a couple of walks I think we’ve even shown it and we’ve been looking for Stickman and where he lives yes Rose asked to be a witch initially but we sort of said oh that’s more you could be room on the brim but that’s more Halloween I think that’s why

She asked for yeah so we said what book do you like I didn’t know cuz there were so many variations of the book and they were all Julia but um I’m sending this one back because it’s not actually the story it’s teaching opposites and I wanted a board book that was the

Story so keeping these two keeping those two Poppy’s outfit is pretty much with would confident with the size Rose we think she was in between so we’ve got to try on one of them and then send that back with the one Stickman book yeah but that is our plan I’m sure Chris will

They might get a bit hot but then they might want to still be dressed up so oh you got a z and a stickman t-shirt yeah I thought T-shirts they can wear into the summer when it doesn’t rain and they’ve got the it’s the first time

They’re going to have their name on the T-shirt Rose is liking letters so Rose’s Z one says Rose oh personalized one yeah and Poppy’s Stickman with the family CU I think she’ll be like baby she’s got a little poppy on it so the Z outfit went down quite well she wasn’t sure about

Wearing this but soon she had it on she was like I’m sock and she’s got a a tail so she was playing with her tail but now we can’t get it off her so hopefully it will last until a world book day that’s so funny we don’t need try poppies on

Cuz we know the size of it so and also she’s a lot more destructive at the moment the rose so we might keep that back until a little closer to 12 put day so that it’s still good enough but yes anyway we’re going to call it an end to
