2️⃣ Don’t judge “brightness” by how it feels in a photograph. Cameras are have limited dynamic range so photographers must manipulate exposure to optimize the picture. Instead, judge the physical surroundings from the location of the plant: 1) what is the angle of visible sky? 2) How long does the sun shine directly on that spot? Don’t gloss over the details – if you think specifically enough, you will realize that each plant in this room receives a measurably different amount of light. The only way to know is to measure – but at the very least, you should be aware.
