Some plants push up shiny bright verdant green, others push up with mahogany tones (like a self tan gone wrong – & yes, I speak from experience). I like them though for their contrast & ‘look at me nature’. They’ll soon dull down & other plants will shine through. That’s the beauty of gardening – there’s always something new to appreciate
