“Pandorea Pandorana” / Watercolor on cotton paper / 16”x20”
The Australian Wonga Wonga vine sits on a deeply saturated viridian wash. The famous bells and pointed pods emerge as Spring brings warmer weather. We spotted this beauty on a trip to NZ. The plants out there are incredible!
The artwork was created using a negative painting process where the drawing is left untouched and remains white.
