Plant Propagation

Help Propergating?

Hello, please bare with me as I'm a new plant mum🪴 This beauty is my Brazilian Philodendron that I got 2 days ago.
I noticed that the pot looks too empty for my liking so I'd like to water propergate and place back in soil when ready to give it a fuller look. (I was told it's doable!) So I have a few questions.
1. Where would be best to cut? The first or second line? (I attached second photo, there's 2 lines i drew onto the photo, both are a it behind a node.. looks like theres a new leaf coming in that im holding infront of the first line drawn so not sure if itd be a good cutting. Too much stress?)
2. How long does it take to be ready to go back into soil?
3. Do you change fresh water every so often or use the fill up method and keep old water? (I've heard benefits from keeping some of the old water during water propergating)
4. Cinnamon. Do I apply on where I cut to prevent bacteria on both the cutting going into the water and on the plant cut itself?
